Should the U.S. boycott the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia because of their anti-gay bill they passed?

http://www.ibtimes.com/sochi-2014-olympics-unsafe-...

Russian president Vladimir Putin recently signed into a law a bill that effectively bans all gay pride events and forbids what it calls "homosexual" propaganda. Having recently overturned DOMA, should the United States boycott the Winter Olympics to show solidarity for the LGBT community.

Do you know how long and hard the US Olympians have trained to participate there that's very selfish to say no you worked your whole life but because they don't like gays you can't attend WTH.

Sure if an Olympian decides to on their own good for them but none should be forced!

Start a Gay Olympics then and leave the real ones alone. The 97% straight population is really not all that into your "special" cause.

Forcing people who have worked all of their lives to participate in the Olympics and boycotting over this is not fair. If there are U.S. Olympians who feel strongly about this and wish on their own to drop out, fine. For others to suffer, is totally unreasonable.

Meanwhile - homosexuals are murdered in the Middle East for being gay.

    Priorities right?

He also put a stop to adoptions being made to the US. He also stopped adoptions to gay people as well.. It is their country, let them do what they will.
