Sony VAIO battery not detected?
Hi,
My laptop was infected by sality virus. I was doing recovery on C drive when laptop out of power (someone unplugged the cable). Afterwards, i restarted recovery, recovery went well, but battery was not detected even though it remained in place. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

1. Unplug AC adapter. Shutdown
2. Remove battery, Connect AC Adapter
3. Start windows7. Remove Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery,
a.Click the Windows “Start” button and right-click “Computer.”
b.Click “Manage,” then “Device Manager.”
c.Click the “Batteries” section. A list of devices will appear.
d.Right-click the “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” device and click “Uninstall.”
4. Shutdown, Remove AC Adapter, Install battery, Reattach AC Adapter.
5. Power up - and windows should autoinstall the driver for battery

Please advise me on what to do ,my 7vaio sony battery is showing battery not detected while on charge. Please i will appreciate your urgent reply
