Will disney screw up star wars 7?

Disney will have absolutely NO impact on the films. Lucas Film Ltd is still making them, the only difference is that they're now a Disney subsidiary, so Disney will gain a percent of the profits from the film, and maybe put their logo in it. That's it. They won't be able to hire/fire actors or crew members, tamper with the scripts, or anything. They have no influence on the films beyond making money.

Yes. They have screwed up since Return of the Jedi in 1983 when George Lucas became more interested in merchandizing than a strong storyline.

Just look at the Ewoks and tell me if you think a tribe of fat teddy bears would have been able to defeat the empire's forces on the moon of Endor.

Star Wars: A New Hope: Excellent.

The Empire Strikes Back: Good.

Return of the Jedi: First 1/2 good. Last 1/2 bad.

The Phantom Menace: Stunk. Jar Jar Binks, C3PO's jokes, 5 year old Anakin.

Attack of the Clones: Fair. Yoda's lightsaber fight near the end ruined everything.

Revenge of the Sith: Fair. General Grievous: A robot with an chronic cough? Please!

But hey. At least George got kids under 10 years old to cry to their parents to buy them all the action figures and anything else George could print a character photo on.

Disney is ALL about merchandise, not about making a good story.

Yes I think so. Especially if they follow up Return of the Jedi with Mark Hamill and all previous actors. They're all too old so I say they should make an Old Republic prequel trilogy or a trilogy based upon The Force Unleashed.

If they do follow up ROTJ, they should get younger actors.

(I think Ewan McGregor should play Obi-Wan's ghost, just put on an oldish look.)
