What do you think about this horse's conformation?

I am going out to check out this horse this week, and I want to know what you all think of his conformation. He is a 13'1" icelandic. He is pretty light boned for an icey, but to me he looks strong and healthy - short back, deep loins, etc. He is four gaited with five gait potential. I'll be using him mostly for pleasure, with some dressage and competitive trail mixed in.

Not good conformation shots! But when I see a pony with a big person on it wonder how well broke the horse is?

When I have a pony for sale I want pictures of the smallest kid I can find to be riding when I take the pictures, and not just with the horse standing, I want to have pictures of the kid riding the horse. Thick necked horses can be cold jawed and hard to rein.

I think he's lovely! His neck does tie in low, but hey, he does tricks! I wouldn't encourage the rearing thing at all, though. I know a group of ladies that ride Icelandics and they have a ball! I'm sure you will, too, he looks like a great horse. Enjoy!

He looks really nice! He has a strong, short back and a long croup so he can really reach under himself. His legs look straight and strong from what I can tell from the pictures. His neck does tie in a bit lower to his chest, but it isn't too bad. Altogether he's very nice.
