What's the first step to take my employer didn't pay me?
I got a job and worked for one day and called them at the end of the day when I left saying that I will not be working tomorrow because it was a very very stressful job, anyways the first day I gave them my account number for direct deposit and did all the paper work so they should pay me for one day that I worked with them a full day, but they didn't and the money is not showing in my account, I mean I will call them tomorrow but if they don't they where should I start from what is the steps. Please Thanks.
P.S. I live in the state of Utah if that matters.

How long has it been since you left the job?
Some states matter, and some they are required to pay you in a certain time frame.
However, payroll paperwork sometimes takes time to process, and you should expect to be paid on the next time that they have a regular payday. Sometimes it takes an extra week or two before, and you might be paid on the regular payday after the next payday. So that could be up to 5 weeks later potentially, as usually payroll is processed somewhere around a week before it is paid.
