Babysitting 9 year old girl and 11 year old boy?

I am going to be babysitting regularly for a 9 year old girl and 11 year old boy during most of the day (morning until late afternoon). I've watched them before but the last time was a couple years ago, so of course some of what we used to do won't work anymore. They are very active so I would like to have some ideas in my head, just in case... novelty would work (at least the first time!)

Maybe you should ask their parents if you could leave the house. Like take them to the park. Lay out some suggestions on what to do if you CANNOT leave the house:

*Bring some toys or maybe have a water balloon fight!

*Play Hide n' Seek inside! (Much more fun)

*If they have bikes go on a bike ride with them.

*If they have a pool play with the pool.

*Have a race in the backyard!

*Or play ball or basketball or something!

If you CAN leave the house and you CAN Drive

*Bring them to the park or Local pool

*Bring them out to eat and a movie

*Bring them to the beach. (If you have one)

    *Walk around the neighborhood

*Bring them to a fun, but cheap place!

*If you're willing to spend some money, bring them to an amusement park! Kids LOVE rollercoasters and rides and things like that.

But before doing this, check with the parents to see if it's okay! Good luck! Hope I helped! Sorry if I didn't...
