it is super normal to feel jelous or insecure it's because the girl is your friend not some random girl he meet in the coffee shop that he will never meet again. Your boy friend should not tell you that your friend cute it is something that he should say to his friends or keep that to him self. If you accept his action there will be more girls that he consider cute and telling you again about that. I think you should tell him nicely that you don't want to hear any of that, bcs you will feel upset and its natural to be upset bcs ofc u want to be special, u just want to hear he tells you are beautiful not other girls especially your friend. good luck on that ;)

well yah i guess so but hes secure enough to say that. theres lotsa cute / pretty people in the world they cant help it. obviously he thinks your cute and pretty too but u also have more to it than that. everybody is pretty its about what else there is. pretty fades. and obviously he sees something in you to of been with u for ten years.
