How did you feel? Did you stay long? What condition made you come back?

I resigned last year at XYZ company november cos I got job offer. Worked nearly 2 yrs there.I trained this new lady (sophie) few weeks befor i left.This male ex colleague (lucas),married guy,was one of the people I treat very good friend in XYZ.Now, things didnt work out with the new job,stayed 2 months only. I planned to apply somewhere else when my ex manager at XYZ called and said she wanted me back she found out i was jobless cos they love my work ethics.Lucas was one of the peeps i was excited to see & work with again,BUT i noticed he was treatin me coldly but i thought he was just having bad day.He wasnt speaking to me at all. I spoke to him and i found out that the new girl,sophie was moved to our other building and that theyre in relationship.He told me its unfair sophie has to be moved as result of me returning to XYZ.they both angry at me cos they thought seems management gave way for my return but other people there said shed stil b moved cos either of their relaionship or lack of people in the other building.I heard sophie's performance at work is not that good.I said sorry to lucas if i hurt him.I said I dint know somebody wil be moved cos of me.I cried to him bt still he doesnt speak 2 me anymore.I was so hurt cos seems like he threw friendhsip away!some people say i dont hav 2 feel bad cos her transfer wil hapen bt y they angry at me?I tried speakin 2 sophie too bt she'd just dismis me.Lucas is also not d same he was before even 2 others there.Must i feel bad??

I cant seem to move up the ladder job wise and I feel like I am running out of time. Has any of you ever experienced success beyond this age??

I cant stand being employed anymore. I worked with company who pays little and who pays more but I cant be happy I feel like a prisoner. I dont know if Im just being picky but I drag myself to work.I want freedom but I only have that amount.

Did it take you a month? two? 6?

I was employed by husband and wife who just started their business. I worked in the hotel and theirs is a travel agency. I gave up my hotel job to join them. Offer was twice i got paid at the hotel. During interview they didnt tell any expectation.Theres only 3 of us.then a month after, the female boss was shouting at me for mistakes thats also hers.I cried in the bathroom.The guy,told me he expected me to have learned fast but he said i was "verrry slow" it crushed my spirit!I was 1 month & half then..

HELP! I just started like a month ago, and things arent going too well. I make mistakes and it makes me feel so stupud. Worse is my boss goes berserk when I make one. \was it hard for you when you were starting? Did you stay long?What was the worse mistake you had?

I wanna quit but I dont wanna look like well... quiter plus I dont have a job to replace it with cos I left my hotel job just for this.. I am so depressed.

I feel so depressed right now. I worked in the call center and hotel industry but I ended up moving to small travel agency for almost 2 months now and for some reason I am having difficulty adjusting. I feel so stupid and useless and I have thought of moving into another career which I dont know. Any of you who have carved a mark at your late 30s?

Is there a claim for a guest who fell last week while she is checking in her big group? She approahed reception then saying she fell.She said she doesnt feel theres anything wrong with her, even her shoes but she said she felt dizzy. We asked her if she wants us to call a doctor but apparently we need to call one and hotel doesnt pay for doctor from outside. She declined. Next day she told management and took letter from hotel. Some of her group witness said hotel should provide free doctor.Then a legal office called hotel week after saying that guest's medical exam confirmed she got hurt (or probably injured) from the fall.Is the hotel suppose to settle something?

Its like im hoarding money.I hate spending I feel like one day Im gona end up broke tho I wanna buy things like new clothes cos I wear the same clothes mostly.Just wash and wear.I find clothes sooo expensive.I want to buy gifts to friends but i always worry about touching my savings.Im getting married so I am saving money bt along the way I am thinking of thrifting on my wedding items just cos i dont want to lose money.I am scared if i get hospitalized I wouldnt have any to pay the bill yet i dont wana go for med check up..HELP!

I am so torn.I am currently working in a Best western hotel as tel.operator.here, Im under agency which means basic salary with no benefits.I have always wanted to be a reservations agent but seems like growth will take time. Theres a nearby hotel that is more just local who has job opening as reservations agent but if id like to try it would mean being absent for work in case there will be an interview and i hate being absent or late.With this hotel,it will be regular job to which Id have minimum salary as well but with benefits plus service charge (like a commision).

BUT Im concern that in the end I might lose both if i go for trying with the other hotel. What should I do? Must I stay in this better known hotel being telephone operator or try applying for the better job position with a not known hotel?
