HELP!!Staying with company that has a name VS. company that offers better job position.?

I am so torn.I am currently working in a Best western hotel as tel.operator.here, Im under agency which means basic salary with no benefits.I have always wanted to be a reservations agent but seems like growth will take time. Theres a nearby hotel that is more just local who has job opening as reservations agent but if id like to try it would mean being absent for work in case there will be an interview and i hate being absent or late.With this hotel,it will be regular job to which Id have minimum salary as well but with benefits plus service charge (like a commision).

BUT Im concern that in the end I might lose both if i go for trying with the other hotel. What should I do? Must I stay in this better known hotel being telephone operator or try applying for the better job position with a not known hotel?
