The All Seeing Eye , what's up with that?

Also called the Eye Of Providence, it was originally an Egyptian symbol pertaining to the god Horus. Over the millenia it has lost this specific meaning and just come to symbolize the eye of god (whichever god one believes in) looking down on makind. It has on many occasions been a Christian symbol with the three sides of the surrounding triangle representing the trinity. In fact, the surrounding triangle was a Christian addition in the first place.

@Bailey: The only symbol used by the Illuminati (the real Illuminati from 1700's Bavaria) was a circle with a dot in the middle. They have not existed since 1787. You're just another victim of modern day conspiracy theories with no roots in truth.

Something that seems to always go right over people's heads, is that other than 666 from Revelation, there is no such thing as a Satanic symbol. Just because some tool name LeVay wrote a book in 1966, does not mean he has the authority to start creating symbols for a character that was first penned down about 2,500 years ago. They are no more credible than if a 3 year old made them with a crayon. Every supposed "Satanic" symbol you can find is either from a different culture, or has been made up and is purely fiction. I can draw a circle on my a55, and call it a symbol of whatever I choose to make up ... it doesn't make it so.

I believe it stands for the God Yahweh always watching what mankind is up to and has nothing to do with being a Satanic symbol.
