Can you get cash back at Wal-Mart's self check out?
My local Wal-Mart store just received the latest improvement of self-checkout lines. Every time I shop at Wal-Mart, I love the convenience of paying with a check and being able tor receive $20 cash back from the check. Does anyone know if this is possible to do at the self check out lines?

It makes more sense for people with checking accounts to use their debit card, and ask for cash back wit the debit card. Very few people bother with writing checks at a store these days.

It's a good idea but it'll never be implimented. Just be patient.. relax, and smile. Even if you're 10 minutes late to an appointment. The future of self check out is there will be a scanner on your cart and you scan stuff as you put it into your cart. At the check out you insert a chip on the scanner into the cash register, pay and leave.
