My local Wal-Mart store just received the latest improvement of self-checkout lines. Every time I shop at Wal-Mart, I love the convenience of paying with a check and being able tor receive $20 cash back from the check. Does anyone know if this is possible to do at the self check out lines?

Tonight at Chili's, I ordered the lighter choice 6 oz sirloin steak. The menu states that it is a: "100% USDA Choice sirloin with carne asada rub". I have looked everywhere online to find a carne asada dry rub recipe, but have not had any luck. It was almost spicy and had a little bit of a kick to it, but absolutely lovely flavor! It was also dark red in color.. almost like paprika or chili powder was in it. Any suggestions, please?

I absolutely adore eating cottage cheese mixed with a little cool whip and sugar free lime jello. This has been a very popular "salad" eaten by many all over the world. Has anyone experimented with different jello flavors to create this delicious & refreshing salad with? I have heard one other person who used strawberry jello and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Any opinions?

I have fairy light skin that has only a slight tint of tan to it. I recently just dyed my hair a light red auburn brown and I have brown eyes. I ALWAYS wear black liquid eyeliner on my top lid (sort of like an Egyptian type look), but I am looking for colors to blend with this. I do not usually wear eye shadow as it just wears off eventually any how. Right now, I am using a light purple and gray eyeliner for the bottom.

What colors/shades would you recommend to go along with my black top eyeliner?

I have had an absolute hair disaster just this week...

I was originally a bleached platinum blonde. This past weekend (Saturday), I had a horrible experience with my usual boxed blonde color.. the color inside was either wrong by the company or switched by someone as a horrible joke and my "blonde" turned out a light brown with an ash-ish tint on the tips. To fix this problem, I put on a permanent Loreal color that was a rich auburn brown. This was a perfect solution for about 2 days. After 2 days however, my light tone of blonde-ish brown is starting to show through on the tips. Tonight, I tried putting an auburn semi-permanent that was ammonia free on my hair to coat the tips more thoroughly and now my tips are bright red.. YIKES! Basically, my question is...

considering that the semi-permanent dyes are ammonia free and contain natural ingredients (this is natural instincts brand), could I go up and buy a new semi-permanent darker shade of just plain brown (like a chocolate) and put it on my hair tomorrow? I have work and the shade of redish pink that my hair is now is just not acceptable.

This morning, I noticed that my cat was unable to move. She acted as though she was almost paralyzed in her back legs and she was very lethargic acting. I took her immediately to the vet and blood work was done. There were no signs of any sort of kidney or organ failure and the diagnosis for heartworms came back negative. The vet is not positive of what went wrong, but my guess is a stroke. She is approximately 10 years old. The vet gave her 2 vaccines, 1 being a steroid to build up her strength. She is now home, but still not walking. She does not have an appetite, but will drink water. She also seems to be having trouble keeping her balance and wobbles back and forth while laying down. What are your thoughts? Have you or anyone you know ever experienced feline stroke?

-Snack: (140 calorie) chocolate protein shake made with water, coffee, whey protein and a little splenda

-Dinner: grilled chicken (4 oz) with 2 cups of romaine lettuce and chopped tomato with an apple

I am needing to know some information about becoming a veterinarian. I am currently a junior attending high school. My goal for my future career is to become a veterinarian or vet tech. What I am needing to know however is what high school credits are needed in order to get into college to start working towards the goal of a veterinarian. **A little background info... I was needing 1 last science credit for high school graduation, so this year I have taken 1 semester of chemistry for .5 science credit and now I am taking .5 credit of marine biology to make 1 whole science credit when putting them together. Is a full year (2 semesters) of chemistry needed to become a veterinarian?

I am making cupcakes today and I am wanting to garnish them on top with fruit (maraschino cherries) to be exact. However, I am worried about the cherries causing the frosting to "run." How can I avoid this problem? Any ideas or suggestions anyone? Thanks!
