A good switchblade and a place to get one?
On September 1, of this year Texas will remove switchblades (auto knife) from the prohibited weapons. I want one. I have no real purpose for one, but I still want one. Does anyone know a good quality (for cheap) switchblade and a reputable seller? Design does not matter, the more to choose from the better.
There is no knife category, so I will post it here.

I am an avid knife collector, over the years I have ordered numerous knives from Stu Fortunato.
Since you are new to the auto-knives I will give you a little advice.
You ALWAYS get what you pay for, especially when dealing with auto knives. I went the cheap route years ago, none of those knives work any more and have been thrown out. The cheapest you should look at are the Boker knives. Avoid ALL Chinese auto knives, they are crap, they break, they bend, they're CRAP!
Source(s): Several dozen auto knives in my collection. I have also bought from here, but BEWARE of FAKES! http://theknifeauction.com/ - PacoLv 68 years ago
You might try here. They have a wide selection, and at all price points... However, as was already stated, with automatic knives you generally get what you pay for, so don't expect their 10 dollar knives to be top quality...

My wife and I set up a small shop at biker swapmeets and sell a number of items to the bikers, and knives are one of the things we sell. This is where we get a good many of the knives we re-sell.

Great advice from Cane Toad and a great site. When it comes to assisted knives, cheap will only piss you off!

Sometimes I can get a little envious of your laws...Here in the GWN, they are still Prohibited....also things like Shurikens and Nunchucks. ( i guess we probably had a lot of people beat themselves to death with chained sticks and a lot of "drive-by" throwing star deaths....)
