Is this sleepwalking or something else?
Im 13 and a gorl if that helps. This is not an every night occurance but it happened a few nights ago and it scared me deeply. I was in my bed and I dreamed a large spider was in a web by me, I have a very large fear of spiders and this scared me. So I jumped out of my bed, literally!! And I ran to the door. While doing this I was screaming at the top of my lungs. Then I saw an even larger one on my door so I was standing there screaming: then my parents ran in and I realized it was a dream. I've read into night terrors and it says I wouldn't remember it or would be confused. But I remember the dream and I wasn't too confused. Can someone explain..? Other thing ive done include: jumping out of my bed, landing on my ankle which I got rug burn from and I hav a scar. I took my pillows off my bed stepped on them the put them back and went back to sleep. I've talked. I screamed at my friend while standing telling her to take me outside. And I've crawled around my friends room. Help please

This happens to me as well. Usually I will just think a spider is above me and i'll freak out and hide under the covers. Another time (and the most vivid) I was asleep but thought I was awake and there was a HUGE softball size black thing on my wall. I was watching it and it just fell off the wall behind my dresser. I freaked thinking it was a spider, woke my husband, made him move the dresser and of course nothing was there. Logically I know no spider could be that big in my area especially in my house. But to me, that spider was REAL. From what I've read and seen in my children (hmmm, maybe it's hereditary) these are night terrors. My children have night terrors, or used to more often. They've slowed recently. But the description of how we experience this sounds exactly like how they describe them on this site. http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/night-terro...
I hope that link helps. They have some suggestions on how to stop the terrors. Good luck.

Look into astral projection. 13 is a good age to realize you're different. You'll have many more questions when it's all said and done.. But the truth is you are in control. Dreaming and lucid dreaming is a powerful state of mind.
Also, spiders aren't anywhere near as bad as you think. Native Americans believe they symbolize creativity or are trying to awaken a form of creativity in you. Are you an artist, draw, write, play music?
