They probably want it to be $20-$25 an hour.

People who work at Walmart have to get food stamps to survive. THey have to live in government subsidized housing because they don't make enough to afford rent.

If the minimum wage from 1962 were adjusted out to todays dollars, it would be $21.72 per hour. People who work at Republican owned Walmart make 1/3 of the 1962 minimum wage.

You know none of this, obviously. When people allow their ideology think for them, they become extremely ignorant about reality.

Wouldn't have to rise at all if there were any jobs for us to go to. Why? Do Republicans not get welfare? I find that highly unlikely. In fact, I know one personally who does.

Go ahead and explain to us how many people are rejecting jobs when McDonald's has a one day hiring push to hire 50,000 workers and they have to turn away almost half a million! Not to mention that because of minimum wages, 80% of the people getting food stamps today ARE WORKING!!

Minimum wage is meaningless when the prices of everything you buy with that increase also goes up in price! What is needed is not an increase in pay but a decrease in the cost of goods and services from a viably expanding economy... in other words the antithesis of Obama.
