Ok My friend hook up with her ex got pregnant and me her started dating the tge baby was born and we are together and happy but her ex has not said anything to her tge whole time she was pregnant and carson the baby was just born now her ex is saying he wants to see him and wants to see her and crap anyways he is a drug addic and has pictures of drugs all over his facefook and instagram and he jyst got a dui that is listed under court records he does not have steady job any ways me and her and baby carson are happy and want her ex to stay out of the picture because we tgink he using carson to get to her anyways what should we do?

She should get a lawyer. You have no standing in the process.

Presently, the presumed biological father has no legal standing to demand visitation. Before he can do that, he has to petition for a DNA test to establish paternity. If he is found to be the biological father, then he would have the legal standing to petition family court for visitation or shared custody. During such a hearing, the mother can present evidence as to why his request should not be granted, including evidence of drug abuse. As an individual unrelated to the mother or child, you personally have no stake in this whatsoever.
