Why don't the percentages on the NBC show called The Winner Is add up?
They usually make up a different number than 100.

The number they show up on the big screens aren't percentages. The numbers are the total amount of votes each singer got and it should add up to 101, the number of people voting. The producers probably chose 101 instead of 100 so they didn't have to deal with a 50/50 situation.
