Contacts irritating my right eye only?

Something odd has been happening with my contacts lately. For some reason, my right eye and that eye only has been irritated by my contacts. It doesn't matter if I switch them, clean them, or replace them with a new pair, always my right eye, and only on the right side of the eye. The irritation doesn't actually hurt or itch too much until I start to mess with it, it's just red on a small portion of my eye. What is causing this?

Update:

Yes... I would ask my eye doctor too. But I didn't post this question here because I couldn't figure that out on my own! I wanted to get an idea of what I was dealing with first before I spend $50 on an eye appointment.

Additionally, a workmate pointed out that the right side of my right eye is where my hair falls. Maybe that has something to do with it?

If you're getting hair under the lens it would irritate, can happen, but its not often with a well fitted lens. If you've swopped lenses and tried the lens in a different eye, then it can't be the lens. Have you scratched the eye and not left your contacts out long enough for it to heal? Sometimes if something is slightly amiss with the eye you'll only feel it when the contact is in.

I'd suggest leaving your lenses out for acouple of days and then trying again.
