Anyone know of any campgrounds in NC that are great for cat fishing and waterfront?
Hi! My husband and I have a 32 or so foot camper. We would love to catfish while camping for our 10th anniversary this july, however I'm not sure what campground would be the best in North Carolina. We would love something on the lake, waterfront, so we could walk out of our camper and fish. Also it needs to have electric and water hook ups. Catfish is a must and we have already looked at Kerr lake and they have no waterfront spots left. We rather not go near the coast. Does anyone know of a good lake for camping and fishing we could look at?

Try the link below. I have a home on High Rock Lake and I catch plenty of Catfish. It's a very large lake owned by Alcoa. It's inland and has plenty of people that fish there year round.
