PS4 better than Xbox One?
Sorry Xbox fans but the PS4 has blown you out of the water. The person who made it has left and they've admitted mistakes. IGNs poll said PS4 was better so I think Sony have won despite being heck of a lot poorer (even though rich) than Microsoft.
But one thing, according to my friends, some awesome games like Fifa and Cod will be Xbox only! So they are getting one! Is this true and do you think I'm wrong. Lets see your opinions!

Well first off, whoever told you that Fifa and Cod will be exclusive, is not right. No sources have announced that, and it's most likely never going to happen because it's a 3rd party company, same with Fifa. However, The Xbox One will get Cod dlc a month earlier, like it always has. But I still reccomend PS4. for several reasons
1. Cheaper Price. Xbox One: $500 PS4: $400. Xbox One is bundled with Kinect (which most people don't need or want) so you have to pay an extra $100 for something you don't want. You could buy a PS4 with a game and extra controller for around the same price.
2. Less restrictions. Xbox One makes you buy Kinect with the console, but PS4 doesn't. Kinect is always on, even if you trust some software settings, hackers can still listen in. Having a camera watching and listening to you is not a benefit. It's stupid, especially when Microsoft was discovered to have exposed information to the NSA, so theoretically the NSA could watch you through Kinect if they wanted. You can't disconnect Kinect, and it probably will not work if you cover it up with something. Also, stupid dipshit Xbox fanboys apparently signed a petition to bring back the RESTRICTIVE policies (you have to check in every 24 hours, no trading games or taking them to friends' houses) and it has received 26,000 signatures so far, and it could probably happen, and those stupid Restrictive policies will come back.
3. Better and more exclusives. Which exclusives are better is just opinion, but PS4 has Killzone, Infamous, Driveclub, and a whole bunch of other things. but factually, PS4 has announced 30 exclusives, 20 of which coming out in PS4's first year. And Xbox only has 15, which in my opinion aren't as good as the PS4 exclusives.
4. Hardware. The PS4 has much higher GPU capacity, 150% more. It also has better ram, (Xbox has DDR3, PS4 has DDR5, which can handle more capacity and graphics, basically more power). Also, they both have 8 Gigs of ram. But, the Xbox One will use 3 GIGS of that for the stupid tv stuff that nobody needs, meaning that you sacrifice some of your gaming capacity for that. But PS4 will use almost all of its RAM for gaming.
5. Community. The PS4 has outsold the Xbox One in pre-orders. Hell, even the OUYA outsold the Xbox One in Canada. But I'd say at least 2/3 of people are going PS4, so most of the social community will be there, and probably most of your friends. Sony said they would have unlimited pre-orders, meaning they had A LOT of PS4s set to manufacture, but they actually did sell out of pre-orders, meaning A LOT of people are going PS4.
6. Backwards compatibility. Neither console is backwards compatibile, however, the PS4 does have an advantage because it will be using gaikai, which will be a streaming service in 2014 that will let u play ps3 games, but people don't really know all the specs and how it works, but there at least will be some form of backwards compatibility.
Just want to add that I am not a fanboy. I owned a PS2, then went to Xbox 360 because the social features and everything was better. So I've liked both sides. I like Xbox 360 better than PS3, but The PS4 in my opinion is better than the Xbox One, I hope this helped you make your decision.

Neither, build your own computer. That's what I'm gonna do. Consoles like Xbox and PS4 are just low-grade computers in "fancy" little boxes. The problem is that if you want to upgrade your graphics card, RAM, hard drive, etc., -- you can't with a console.
With a desktop computer, however, you can do ALL of that AND actually get work done with it. Anything you want to do on a console can be done on a computer and then some.
If you don't wanna though, take if from a Xbox360 owner, get the PS4. Better price, graphics, system. Sure there's no "Halo" but whatev's. Also, you won't get a built in Kinect you don't want.

First of all everyone needs to do their own research and stop being a typical sheep. PS4 was originally planning on the same restrictions that the X1 just changed. And if people got their heads out of their asses they would realize that the original restrictions weren't much of restrictions at all.
1. As far as the console having to connect to the internet once every 24 hours: We live in an age where we have 'always on and ready' internet. So unless you're trying to make your console mobile what the hell is the difference. It's connected to the internet ALREADY. For people arguing, "well what if I take it with me on vacation where I won't have access to internet?" Here's my answer to you. You're on vacation! Do something other than sitting in your RV or hotel room playing a video game that you can do when you're not on vacation. I swear most people have no damn common sense.
2. Digital downloads and no more trading in/selling game discs: First of all, when you do trade in your games you get pennies on the dollar for them. Secondly, did anyone read about the family sharing that the X1 was going to use? Basically one person could buy the game and share the license with 5-10 "family members." How is that a bad thing?
In the end, Microsoft and the X1 did a terrible job explaining the benefits of the new "restrictions." PS4 pulled the same restrictions once they saw the backlash that gamers had when Microsoft announced theirs.
For me, what it comes down to is the titles and the entertainment. X1 and PS4 are virtually the same machine. One is a 20% more expensive because it comes with accessories that the other does not. Regardless of whether you want the accessories or not. People are acting like $100 is SOOO much more money. It's equivalent to the price of 1 and half games people. I also enjoy the Xbox controller more than the playstation's.
That's my two cents.

Fifa and Cod xbox only.. what a foolery!
EA and Activision would NEVER do something that stupid.
Definitely now it looks at the PS4 is well still looked at as better console. Leading to at least a 50/50 situation.
your friends are weird!
What can happen is that microsoft bribes Activision to give Call of Duty a 4 week exclusive map pack timezone. Aka that they won't bring out mappacks on any other platform until after 4 weeks. But that is about it.

uXbox owner but I got one thing to say PS4 PS4 PS4 you're spot Sony is going to win good result for gaming. Your friends are talking utter garbage. Microsoft screwed us I cannot support them or their console for gaming the X1 must be made an example for the good of the business thank god for Sony
@dean I already knew Sony considered doing the same but the point is they didn't.
@greg you are a fool you swallow the crap Microsoft feed you. The Camera is a gross invasion of privacy Sony is going to win the next war they've been very clever this time. You believe that MS won't turn the restrictions back on if you believe that you're the biggest fool well its close between you and dean. The camera has been linked to the NSAs prism data mining. Microsoft attacked our rights our choices you support them you forfeit the right complain when they turn on you. You'reno gamer niether is dean
@the poster talking about specs get your facts correct the PS4 hard drive is not built in its 500 gb user servicable which meansit can be removed and upgraded. Didn't you watch E3 Sony have already confirmed this. The X1 on the other hand DOES have a non removable 500 gb hdd that requires you to install 50 gb discs on 500 gb how long will that last. Secondly if the hdd breaks or corrupts you lose the console till the hdd is replaced
Source(s): Neutral hardcore gamer 20 years. E3 Shuhei Yoshida Sonys President for Computer entertainment Inc has confirmed officially the hdd is upgradable. Verify it for yourselves guys. Plus opinion - Anonymous8 years ago
Other than Dean and Masticina Akicta's answers all the other responses are biased and have little to zero research behind them...
1. Neither Cod or Fifa are xbox exclusives, however what I believe what your friend's may have meant is they have "exclusive" content that comes a month early (not entirely sure about fifa, but Cod is 100%) same goes for Battlefield 4 (announced at xbox reveal event)
2. in response to Tech P's answer, Xbox gold members ATM get 2 free games a month (good games too) up until the release of Xbox One (not confirmed if it continues) which makes both PS Plus and Xbox live virtually the same (both $60). Also this whole kinect "spying" on you is mindless crap made up by the same people who wear tinfoil on their heads cause they think the government is sending messages into their heads. Finally Xbox One DOES NOT make you pay for used games. Do a little research before you post bs Tech P
3. In response to Sly Cooper's answer neither Sony or Microsoft will EVER have better exclusives. That all depends on the gamer and what type of game they prefer. I personally preferred Gears of War over Killzone (as an example), so that had to be the most biased response yet. Also the exclusives are the same price. Check best buy, all the exclusives announced for both consoles are retailing for 59.99.
4. to do with the price: yes the xbox one is $100 more, however it also comes bundled with the kinect whereas the ps4 does not come with playstation 4 camera. For me, i like it coming with the kinect because I will be using my xbox for skype and other features i find it useful for, so for those people who want the ps4 camera they now have to pay $59.99 more for it which now makes the console price difference $40.
5. The specs for the two consoles are nearly identical. I will post the source from IGN which is a direct breakdown of the two consoles and what they bring to the table.
In conclusion, NEITHER console is better than the other. It depends on the gamer and what they want from a console. Me? I'll be getting the Xbox One for things such as early content, bundled kinect with skype compatibility as well as the fact that it is also a home entertainment system, so being a university student, it is much easier for me to buy the xbox one than a bunch of different electronics separately. I also think the Xbox controllers have always been more comfortable that Playstation Controllers (but thats just me)
The poll done by IGN is again just a poll... the majority of people who answered it were already decided on their console before anything was announced. It was a fanboy poll. If you want a more accurate poll then read up the articles stating that big game retailers are running low on pre-orders for BOTH consoles for launch day. Thats a 50/50 poll. So look at like 20 different (credible) polls if thats how you are deciding on the console you are buying. Cause if you are too lazy to do the research at least you'll get a more accurate statistic...
Edit:
LOL at all the PS4 fanboys hating on any comment that has research behind it and isnt biased.
@lone wolf: btw the restrictions weren't a bad thing. There is actually a petition made by CONSUMERS to bring them back. They were an innovation to console gaming that would progress it further. Steam is a prime example of this. Now because of the people who did ZERO research into the next gen consoles (like you and the rest of these PS4 fanboys), this innovation is no more. The PS4 isn't bringing anything "new" to the table. They have just made minor tweaks to make it look like what they are doing is brand new (like the cod series after cod 4). So eat your own words and stop falling victim to Sony's bs.
Oh and btw, if you really think that the kinect is going to be spying on you, turn it around when you arent using it. Problem solved! :D
moron...

I have to agree with you, but games likes FIFA and CoD won't be exclusives. FIFA will have exclusive Xbox One content but to make it wholly exclusive to one platform would mean that there will be a huge drop in profits (and this is EA we're talking about!).
Anyway, PS4 all the way!
@Greg There's a difference between bias and a preference, people have different opinions. And Microsoft have worked with the NSA, your statement about "foil hats" is ridiculous.

Fifa and Cod will not be exclusive to the xbox! tell your friends to get their facts straight
i would definitely go with the ps4 a lot to exclusive content coming to ps4 it also has playstion plus where you get tons of free games to instantly download. you can start downloading a game and at the same time play it. there are tons of features and it will not spy on you or make you pay for used games.

Even if it is true the PS4 will still be better. Call of Duty isn't that good of a game as they're just milking the franchise for money now. Sony will ALWAYS have better exclusives at a cheaper price.

I dont know where they are getting their information but fifa and Cod are still going to PS4, so you can still get great games on PS4.
