Apprenticeship coming to an end and I need a job.....?

Hello there well basically I need a job, my apprenticeship in IT is coming to end and I am in need of a job, I would prefer to work in IT still however I am prepared to work in retail, customer service, factory work etc basically any work to earn an income. I live in Essex and I'd rather get a job sooner rather than later as I have a wedding to plan for and there's no way I can afford it if I don't have the money to. I'm open to any answer on this.....

Look on gum tree...Reed. There are lots of places to find jobs. You may have to settle for something basic until you find the job you like but at least it is money!

It sounds like maybe you should consider a second apprenticeship or maybe a school leaver position. Your apprenticeship in IT will be great on your CV if you can talk about what you learned and developed.

Have a look at www.TheBigChoice.com - its the best school leaver and apprenticeship recruitment website available; but it also lists entry level, graduate and intern jobs. There will be jobs in both London and Essex, if you want to work for a bigger company - you might find more in London on TheBigChoice.com if you can commute in via Liverpool Street.

There are also some part time roles up on the website if you really do need an immediate starts, but remember to think of your longer term career as well! There is also a School Leavers Guide digital magazine on the BigChoice site, you could have a look at that as its free and has loads of information.
