How would you react if Premier League was not being shown on TV in your country?

Where I live, it's not going to be televised properly this season because a d*ckhead company known as Sky TV New Zealand didn't put a high enough bid for it, so some foreign company got the rights and the only way to watch it in good quality is now by paying $150 and watching it online. They're only showing match of the week DELAYED and one hour highlights on tv. I now have to rely on Firstrow to watch all the games and have to wake up at like 3 am every time. Sometimes if the game was on during 3 am on mondays I would tape the game and watch it when I wake up because of school, but now I may have to wake up, or just miss the game. It's going to be impossible to wake up and stay awake for two hours if I'm sick aswell. Just won't be able to enjoy the Prem this season.

What is your opinion on this and how would you react if you found out Premier League was not going to be shown where you live?

Update:

WHAT? FIRST ROW HAS BEEN STOPPED?

    I would be devastated.

I try to go to as many live Arsenal games as I can, and often see quite a few Swansea and Cardiff games too. If Arsenal aren't on tv and I'm not watching it in the flesh I will just stream it though.

Having said that I like watching all Prem games that are on tv, as well as La Liga, Serie A and others so I just tend to record any games being shown and watch them at night (That there insomnia).

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, as sad as it is watching/playing football is my main hobby and I'd be gutted if I was being restricted like you were.

Firstrow hasn't been stopped. Even if it had they'll just find proxies like they did with the piratebay.

The internet always wins. It knows no borders and the sooner large corporations realise that the better.

I'd hate to give Murdoch another penny of my money so rely on streams to watch a lot of football. I do get BT Sport free as a BT broadband customer, but I wouldn't pay for it.

I would pay $150 a year. If you think about it, Skysports is already over $10 a month anyway and you still only get a limited amount of games. Paying $150 a year for every single game is quite good.

Well, it'd be pretty weird, seen as I'm English and live in Manchester/Salford.

Then again, I'd probably just go to more games than I do already.

That is scary stuff Australia is right next door to NZ.

I guess I'd move countries if this happened ;)

I think it'd be great. If I had my choice there would be NO games on the TV.
