I'm a Manchester United supporter, and have been supporting them since 2001. I live in Auckland so I support any sports team that is based in Auckland. This includes the likes of The Blues, Vodafone Warriors, Auckland Aces, The Breakers etc etc. I also support: -The All Blacks. (Best Rugby team in the world.) -The All Whites. (ONLY unbeaten team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Managed to draw with the defending champions. Future world champs in 2014.) -The Black Caps. -The Silver Ferns. Big fan of The Simpsons and I also enjoy watching films.
How long does it take to fix a rusted charging port?
Hey there. Apparently my HTC One's charging port is rusted. It will be sent off to be fixed but I was wondering how long this may take, and if possible an approximate price?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans7 years agoIs Phil Jones capable of playing the "Makalele role"?
Makalele was never the fastest player on the pitch nor did he have the best vision, touch or passing range. But what he did have was a fantastic defensive game. (Like Jones). I think Jones is fantastic defensively and he has excelled in canceling out attacking threats such as Bale, C.Ronaldo, Fellaini last season, and more recently Ozil. Obviously I'm not saying Jones at the moment is as good as Makalele in his prime was. He will have to improve his positioning in midfield and the more stereo-typical midfielder attributes such as passing and touch and maybe he can be as good as him.
OR do you think he should just be played as a centre back? Will playing him as a midfielder hinder his development as a centre back?
9 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)7 years agoHow would you rate Fellaini in the game vs Everton?
I was actually happy with him. He wasn't special or world class but I saw a HUGE improvement. His passing was neat, won a few headers and made some nice tackles. Nothing more than an average performance, but this performance shows me promising signs. He's not a world class player. I'm pretty sure every sensible United fan admits that, but when on form he is above average. Once Carrick comes back I'm pretty sure his game will be enhanced, and even Kagawa's too.
This doesn't mean that we don't need another midfielder though. Ideally, I'd like to have Fellaini as an important team member, but not the midfielder we depend heavily on. United fans everywhere have been calling for Gundogan to be signed but that all depends where we finish at the end of the season.

I thought everyone said we were nothing without RVP?
8 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)7 years agoHow good is Koke when he plays in a central midfield role?
From what I've seen, he seems more like a natural attacking midfielder. But does he ever play in a central midfield role? If so, how good is he?
3 AnswersSpanish Football (Soccer)7 years agoEven though he's not available to play in the CL, should United go for Gundogan in January?
Or would Herrera be a better option?
5 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWhat should United's team look like for the Liverpool match?
We got out classed by City. Congrats to them they played very well. Let's put the horrific match behind us now and divert our attention towards the upcoming Liverpool match.
This is what I think the starting XI should look like.
GK) De Gea
RB) Rafael (Heard he's back and training).
CB) Vidic
CB) Smalling
LB) Evra
RM) Valencia
CM) Fellaini
CM) Carrick
LM) Nani
SS) Kagawa
ST) Rooney
Subs:
Lindegaard
Buttner
Ferdinand
Cleverley
Zaha
Januzaj
Hernandez
I reckon we should play a strong side and go for a comprehensive win. We need confidence at times like these.
If Ashley Young or Welbeck start I swear I will punch and probably break a wall.
8 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoSpanish football fans: In your opinion, Scholes, Gerrard or Lampard?
There's been a alot of talk about Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville's discussion on who's the best out of the three. What's your opinion?
Here's the discussion by the way:
12 AnswersSpanish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWhy was Ryan Giggs started ahead of Shinji Kagawa?
As a Manchester United supporter, I have the utmost respect for Giggsy. Probably our greatest player ever and is an absolute legend. However, the fact that he started ahead of Shinji Kagawa in his favored position is worrying. Giggs still has skill but is not good enough to start games anymore - especially against Liverpool at Anfield! Kagawa and Rooney were the players we were missing. No creative spark in midfield. (Cleverley and Young were atrocious). Now don't get me wrong, I still want Giggsy to stay at the club but as more of a rotation player, not a regular starter.
4 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoHow amazing was it to see Raul not just play, but SCORE again for Real Madrid?
Not just for Real Madrid fans, but for football fans all over the world it was a grand moment. Legendary player. He was one of the best goal scorers when I was a little kid and I used to see him score alot. Seeing him score again gave me a sudden wave of nostalgia lol....and I'm not even a Real Madrid fan!
3 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWould a Mata and Rooney swap deal be great for both United and City?
Imagine a United line up that looks like this:
-------------RVP
Zaha----Kagawa-----Mata
----Carrick-----Fellaini (this transfer is inevitable IMO)
Evra----Vidic---Jones----Rafael
---------De Gea
And for Chelsea:
---------------Rooney
De Bruyne-----Oscar--------Hazard
---------Ramires--------Lampard
Cole-------Luiz-----Ivanovic-------Azpilicueta
---------------Cech
All I can see are positives for both sides. Even though I do not want Rooney to go to Chelsea, if it does end up happening then a swap deal with Mata would be good.

1 AnswerEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWhy is Mario Balotelli underrated?
Often his jokes and funny antics shadow his talent. He's a superb striker. I hardly ever hear his name being mentioned when there's a "best young player in the world" discussion.
2 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoDoes Jurgen Klopp have the potential to become one of the greatest managers ever?
Klopp in my opinion is a complete manager. He's tactically brilliant, has great man-management skills, knows how to develop youth and makes pretty awesome transfers. He turned Dortmund from an almost bankrupt club to an elite European side. He has all the qualities to be a great. Classy guy too. Don't know anyone that dislikes him.
3 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoHow would you react if Premier League was not being shown on TV in your country?
Where I live, it's not going to be televised properly this season because a d*ckhead company known as Sky TV New Zealand didn't put a high enough bid for it, so some foreign company got the rights and the only way to watch it in good quality is now by paying $150 and watching it online. They're only showing match of the week DELAYED and one hour highlights on tv. I now have to rely on Firstrow to watch all the games and have to wake up at like 3 am every time. Sometimes if the game was on during 3 am on mondays I would tape the game and watch it when I wake up because of school, but now I may have to wake up, or just miss the game. It's going to be impossible to wake up and stay awake for two hours if I'm sick aswell. Just won't be able to enjoy the Prem this season.
What is your opinion on this and how would you react if you found out Premier League was not going to be shown where you live?
6 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWho should be Manchester United's first choice centre backs next season?
If there aren't any changes made in the central defense, then I'd like to see Phil Jones and Nemanja Vidic be the regular starters. IMO Phil Jones is one of the most promising centre backs in the world. He can tackle, he's great in the air, he's strong, he reads the game pretty well and he seems like a natural leader. He managed to keep Fellaini and RONALDO quiet within a week! Not many 21 year olds can say that did that! The only areas of his game that concern me are his positioning and decision making but that will obviously get better with experience. I believe he's up there with Raphael Varane as one of the best young centre backs in the world.
