What should United's team look like for the Liverpool match?

Apparently RVP will be back for the Liverpool game. If he's good to start then he should.

Anyway, I'd pick something like this.

GK: De Gea

RB: Rafael

CB: Vidic

CB: Smalling/Evans (think Rio will need a break and Smalling has been playing a fair few games. But I still am waiting for Evans to play a stronger part in the side because he's very talented)

LB: Evra

RW: Valencia

CM: Fellaini

CM: Carrick

LW: Nani

CF: Rooney

ST: RVP

Maybe a role for Kagawa on the wing (out of position I know, but can still do well from there) and maybe even Welbeck on the wing. Whether people like to hear it or not, the guy puts in a good shift and out wide could be a safe option for him.

I think we should play 4-2-3-1:

GK - Ben Amos.

RB - Varela - good experience & should be given a chance..

CB - Ferdinand.

CB - Evans.

LB - Evra.

DMF - Fellaini.

DMF - Carrick.

RMF - Zaha - needs a chance.

CAM - Kagawa - needs a chance.

LMF - Nani.

CF - Hernandez - needs a chance..

Substitutes:

Lindegaard.

Smalling.

Fabio.

We should play a fairly strong side, but not too many first team players.

I agree that the Manchester United shirt is too big for the likes of Young and Welbeck. Neither deserves to be a starter with United and I would dare say that neither deserves to even be with the team. Welbeck should have been subbed out yesterday with Hernandez coming on at the beginning of the 2nd half. I hope the rest of Manchester United's fans finally realize what I have long said that Welbeck is not good enough to be striker and his "cart-horse" work-ethic is highly overrated. He has fewer assists and fewer goals that Javier Hernandez despite having more than twice the amout of playing time that Hernandez does. Welbeck deserves to be sold and Hernandez deserves more playing time to get back in form.

I agree, if young or wellbeck start moyes deserves a slap. I pretty much agree with your selection, just swap Ferdinand with Evans as Ferdinand seems too slow and rusty now, Evans has pretty much matured and has saved a lot of goals for us.....good choice though ;)

If Young or Wellbeck start.. it is doomed. They lack cohesion and all purely selfish.

Apart from van Persie, Rooney doesn't have any one else who has the same frequency of thought
