How do improve that a debt is in the process of being resolved?

In order. For me to enlist in the Navy and receive a SEAL challenge contract, I must clear some debt. I must either totally pay it or show that I am in the process of paying it (atleast 3 consecutive months). The debt collector said that I will not get a receipt for each monthly payment that I pa to them...so how will I prove to the navy that I have been making payments? Thank you to all that reply

Pay via some method that documents the payments. Cancelled cheques, bank statements, etc should all be acceptable proof as long as they show who the funds went to, the amount and the date. It wouldn't hurt to ask the Navy to tell you what proof is acceptable to them.
