I dove in a pool too deep. Blood coming out of ear?!?!?
I was diving in a gyms pool and water RUSHED into my ear, it hurt really bad, so when I got home I figured the water would just come out like normal..
But it didn't, so I went and bought some auro dri swimmer's ear from Walmart as soon as I put it in it hurt like crazy, no water came out, it had been about 4 hours and finally I felt something come out, but it was pink, It has to be blood and water mixed coming out, I can still hear out of my left ear but it is a lot more muffled than my right, the pink fluid is still slowly coming out but the pain between ear and headache is about an 8/10 and that is saying a lot considering my pain tolerance is really high.
Can someone please tell me why my ear is bleeding, I'm freaking out right now.

Probably a ruptured ear drum. It'll heal if that's the case. I'd go to the dr. To get some pain meds. That hurts

My guess is that when you dove you went to deep without equalizing and something like this can easily happen. If you don't know what equalizing means search up diving ear equalizing

Ha. That's one of the most common spots to bleed from rapid deceleration. Next would be your nose.
I'd monitor your health for the next day or so.
Rapid deceleration damages organs more than anything.

I would head to the ER.
Source(s): I ain't a Dr, and here in Canada, we do not question what is wrong, we go and get it checked out.
