Please help me i need to convince my father?

I know what your saying, my dad was like this to until I stood my ground and told him it's my life, my dreams and my faults. And that I'll be paying for school... So just do what you want, if you have this much passion for it then do it!!!!

I'm in a similar boat, but i'm the one telling myself that I won't make money (Plus its slightly different, as I want to be an animator). I say do what you want. It's your life, and if you make a mistake, its all on you. But if you succeed, then you'll be extremely grateful that you chose the path you took. You know, like that really cheesy saying "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"

Maybe it is time to listen to your father once and for all...why not try to visualized what is really matters if it is for the good of everyone but not your own self.sometimes we think we are right but we don't know in the end we'll be failed.
