When you filled out the original application at the time of your test/s, you had the option of choosing a college to send these scores to for absolutely free. If you did put down the name of a college, the scores have already been sent to that university...even if you have not seen the scores yourself.
Let's say you took multiple exams, then on each exam date you were given the option of putting down a college to send these scores to. If you took AP Literature and put down Boston University, and then took AP Spanish but then did not put down a university name, then Boston University will only get the AP Literature scores.
Regardless of what, only one college can receive an AP score for free for each test. Which means you can't send anything to any other college until you pay for it...if you choose to do so.
If you're an incoming freshman, I would contact the college you're going to to find out if they have received your scores. If you're a Sophomore or Junior, your AP scores aren't too important and probably won't be looked at until you're admitted years down the road. It might be put into a computer to be used as an admission decision...but most colleges don't look at that stuff when they are deciding to admit you or not. If you can't recall which university/universities you put down, you'll have to wait another three weeks :(
And don't stress, colleges are aware that you are taking a college class and are impressed that you took the course to begin with. As long as you got a decent score (depends of the university), you'll be fine.
Best of luck!
