trayvon martin case. what do you think?
Okay so basically i realized we give to much of our own thinking and ideas to the media so they can think for us. Many of tragic incidents are blown out of proportion by the media in order to get ratings and i think many times the media influences sentences and decisions of murder cases. What i want to know is if you think media has something to do with the trayvon and zimmerman case and if you believe zimmerman is guilty or not guilty.
Mine, i think the media created racial outbreak in the public's mind shadowing the real agenda---Gun control. And i believe Zimmerman is Guilty.

Zimmerman caused the death of an unarmed youth. He should have at least been convicted of manslaughter. I didn't, however see this as a racial issue. Mr. Zimmerman was a member of a minority. (Hispanic???)

I am glad that you asked this question. A few days ago someone posted a question similar to yours, asking about how people felt about Zimmerman. I said something like this,"What would you do if you were repeatedly harassed?" people who read this thought that I meant Zimmerman was harassed while I meant that Trayvon was harassed. I hope some of those people will read this posting to know how I felt. From what I understand Zimmerman was a self appointed watchman. I do realize that there may have been burglaries in the neighborhood, but that really does not prove anything, and it does not justify taking a young life. And what about when police told Z to stay in his car?

I believe the only reason Zimmerman was even arrested and tried was because of racial public outcry. I think the procecuters caved under political pressure, and I also think they knew they didn't have a snowball's chance of winning. I don't believe the media swayed anyones decision, because the facts backed up Zimmerman all the way. People who tend to lean to the left thrive on such cases to push their own agenda, and that's why this case happened in the first place. I think Zimmerman was defending himself, and the right verdict was made. I do respect your opinion, I just don't agree.

I agree, Zimmerman is guilty and needs to go to jail, carrying a handgun using it on an unarmed person is a serious felony.
The press indeed is guilty of fostering copy cat murders. because in a violent country like the US can spark a tragedy
Hope this helps

Open and shut case. The jury had either to return a perverse verdict (which possibility is in the last analysis what we have a jury system at all) and provoke Blacks to riot, or convict Zimmerman and provoke the Whites to riot .
In South Florida the former was the safer option (since there are so many more Whites down there). Anything in between, such as a manslaughter verdict and both races would have rioted.
In the event the only place where the Blacks felt they had to numbers to riot in comparative safety was in LA, and what happens there is of no concern to the "good" folk of Florida.

I say his guilty,Guilty of murder & Guilty of racially profiling him.
They may have found him not guilty but he's not free he's in his own prison he made for himself the second he pulled the trigger.
