Literature Rules? Texting Conversations?

When you're writing literature, if you have a conversation through text messaging, do you put those in regular quotes, or use a digital-looking font to stylize it with an Instant Messaging format? Like:

Me: Hey wanna go to the movies tomorrow?

Bob: Sounds good

Thanks!

I would not use the "Me:" "Bob:" format. Looks too much like a movie or play script, and not like literature.

I'd use italics. You'll have to be really careful to keep it clear as to which party is sending which message.
