Android, Smartphone help?
Okay, so i bought my phone Huawei ascend y300 this week on monday and got it on Wednesday. I've been up a few nights trying to figure out everything about this phone, It's a really good phone but mine came with a small pink spot inside the screen at the bottom, it's not a damaged pixel so I'm fine with that but my main problem is with the Android operating system it uses.
So whenever i change it's default storage location to my SD card (2gig) I notice that my old pictures taken from the phone's camara disappear from the gallery, so when i do switch back to internal storage, there's still nothing there but after a few minutes it all comes back but my old pictures taken form the phone's camara stay blank and their memory is 0mb so basically there's nothing there, it's blank and those pictures aren't that old since i only just got the phone on Wednesday and reset it a day ago since i encountered got the same problem. (my recent taken pictures and screenshots are okay but am afraid i will lose them too)
I already have an app called Lookout which detects for viruses from apps i have and which i install and i already have run a scan to see if there are any viruses but there aren't any.
Another problem is with the game saves, where do they store the save data? because I have a game called CSR Racing and my phone's internal memory is really low so i clear the cache every now and then since it stores about 50 to 100mb a day and when i do so, it clears the cache from all apps, but this game called CRS Racing is using it's cache as a save location so whenever i start that game i have to start again from level 1 unless if the servers of the game have backed up my last account's progress
Please help me if you know what the problem is or if you have encountered the same thing with your android devices because this is my first smartphone and my first time in using Android, i had an ipod touch before and i find that much better and secure to use despite the headache of trying to get itunes to run on my Linux
I have 512mb ram and only 393 is usable but the phone's services use it up leaving me with only 70mb free
I do have a years guarantee on this phone so if there's a problem with the ram then i can return it back but if it's just the Android operating system then i can't do much but to backup my data and or transfer my pictures to pc or another folder
Thank you for your time in helping
Triple A, thats where i bought my phone from lol okay i will do that thanks!
Craig, I was told that the Play Store isn't as safe as the iTunes app store and I install a hacked game and installed Aptoid, a free store same as Play store which has many other stores which people have created making is unsafe so I installed Norton since I encountered the memory lost problem and then i reset the device and sd card, now i put lookout without trying to install anything from net but the problem seems to be within the phones memory I think
I just found out that my pictures storage location is SD card whilst my default storage in settings is internal, could this be the problem or should still read from both card and phone? I've changed it anyway to internal storage in my pictures settings and took a few pictures and am going to change my default storage to sd card tonight to see if i have the same problem
Yes I do have 1gig of internal storage but I still have 500mb which is enough for save data but this game literally uses its cache as a save location so when

Don't worry about viruses. If you're downloading everything from the Play Store, you won't have any problems.
It sounds like the pictures you're taking are being saved to the internal memory. When you switch to SD card it sounds like it's removing them for some reason. I have an android phone but it doesn't have an SD card so I can't really help you here. That does sound like strange behaviour though. I would have thought that the camera gallery would show photos from both the internal storage and SD card at the same time.
Games store save data on the internal memory. It looks like your phone only has 1GB of internal memory, so that doesn't leave a lot of space for apps. The only way you're going to resolve this is to remove other apps to leave more space free or get a phone with bigger internal memory.
The RAM problem is down to Android. It uses quite a bit of RAM even when you're not using apps because there are so many processes going on in the background (the next android (4.3) update is supposed to resolve this).
