Hypothetical question -- Who would be the best player in baseball if PEDs and steroids were legalized ?
Kind of an interesting question to think about...
If players were allowed to use PEDs and roids, who do you think would benefit the most?
Would Miguel Cabrera become so good that pitchers wouldn't even want to face him, and basically give him the "Bonds-treatment"?
Or would steroids elevate one's game like Mike Trout or Andrew McCutchen to where they would have zero weaknesses?
Just picture Trout or Cutch on steroids. They're already great at what they do, but imagine them being bigger, stronger, and faster. With steroids, would those two be able to flirt with a 50-50 season? As good as Cabrera is, with roids, he still wouldn't be able to run and play defense the way Trout or Cutch could.
I personally think Miggy would still be the best hitter (I have no reason to think otherwise), but as an overall player, who do you think would be the best if steroids were legalized?
Do any other players come to mind that would be unstoppable if put on roids? Any pitchers even?
And please, this isn't a question about whether or not PEDs should be legalized. It's a question for fun. Use your imagination.

I ss one glaring problem hypothetically your assuming if they were legal all would use this works right into Budlick Selfish thinking i made it illegal and suspend them so players now clean. History lesson long before Roids and PED there was this game called Coors rarefied wound more tightly baseballs hey lets think Ellis Burks Andres Gallararga super stardom. then came the mystery stuff in walked Brady Anderson and Greg Vaughn the 50 guys. Heck Ellis was rarefied so high he should of made the 50 -50. When you say 50-50 I think your thinking Matt Kemp predictions 2012. Albert Belle did 50-50 doubles HR.
The one guy you can bank on would be Josh Hamilton legal he a 80 HR .400 hitter keep him off crack and on roids. Miggy would not be on the list roids PED and massive cases of beer don't mix. Who to fear on PED Prince Mountain (Fielder). As good loyal fans we must believe the crap we were told though they do effect performance hitting a baseball the hardest thing to do. So what if it adds 200 feet to Brady Anderson we would still be a fly out to short outfield drive we need the talent. Remember and never forget Roids and PED will not make you faster I don't care what banned sprinters in the Olympics have proven Only booze will as Mantle proved 3.1 sec to first 14.3 around the bases. Trout has no track record remember a roid is a roid is a roid but no two roiding players are the same. Imagine how great Ryan Braun would of been if he didn't need to think up excuses and could devote full time to anti-aging.Who is to think that all Herb Washington needed was a needle of roids and some PED and he would of been a 50-50 guy ? 30-30 maybe lol.
As to pitchers heck they can't hit so good maybe Roger just took it to help lay down a sac bunt.

Hmm...well if everyone is clean now then it'd be the same people who are at the top now.
Bonds wasn't the type you would think steroids would help, you'd say he's too long, athletic in smooth.
My firs thought is Carlos Gonzalez, but I mean I think it would shorten some guys defensive careers at least.
Depends on how much they are juicing and what exactly they are taking.
I think it might be best for 1B because they don't have to move much.
Maybe Bryce Harper on juice? He'd be a big kid, like Giambi in his prime. And he has the space to fill out. Trout is already built like a brick shithouse.

I'll go with Aroldis Chapman. He already throws triple digits, picture how much harder he could throw if juiced up

Since we don't know who is and who isn't still juicing right now, I don't know how to answer your question without it being purely speculative.
