bill clinton made about $17 million in 2012. does he really need a federal pension?

before you democrats say "what about bush?", i haven't seen his 2012 income, but he doesn't deserve a pension either. maybe those young men and women he helped maim in iraq deserve some of that.

He is entitled to it no matter how much he earned after leaving office. The late Dennis Farina, who just passed away yesterday, worked for nearly 20 years as a cop, collected a pension and then got into acting. No doubt he made more as actor than he ever made as a cop. Should he have given up his pension because of that? Of course not.

BTW, you are the one who seems obsessed with Bush. He is as entitled to his pension as Clinton is.

I know, and even congressmen get a lifetime pension, even if they only work for four years.

But in order to change that we would have to get them all to vote against their own pensions.

    Think that will happen?

Every President has taken the Pension, since it started being offered. You'd have to blame Democrats and Republicans alike.

Lifetime pensions for politicians need to disappear.
