Is the life cycle of a Liverpool fan now during a season?
Before the season:
"Ermahgerd! New season! We can totally leave our mark in the PL for the first time in years. We are the dark horses, we can emerge as champions. Coutinho, Downing, Henderson, and Sterling, lead the way! Count to 5ive, lol!
10 matches into the season:
"All right. A top 4 spot is still within reach guys. Don't worry. Our manager wwill play the tactics right for the easy matches ahead."
After twenty matches:
"OK, a Europa League spot is still up for grabs. Let's be the first to secure it so we can focus on next season while they still can't count to 5ive, LOL."
After thirty matches:
"Who knew this crappy mid-table team could put up such a good fight?
Let's just pick up one of the last Europa league spots here so we don't look bad."
At the end of the season:
"It was a rebuilding season guys. God! You'll have one too, one day. Our players still need to develop, so while you guys off and try to win a meaningful trophy, keep in mind that you still can't count to 5ive. I believe in us, we can really do it next season."
During the summer transfer window:
"La! La! La! La! La! Can't hear you over our 5 CL trophies. La! La! La! La!
And then we come back to beginning of the season...

Ha ha, yes you are right. I am only a Bristol City fan so have no reason to dislike Liverpool like United fans with their rivalry. The only reason is that they are the most irritating fans. But I do like the manager, I think he is a great manager and that is their only hope. But if they sell Suarez then they have no chance. They do have some good youngsters but a selling club cannot get into the top 4, and they are a selling club now. It is like Spurs, if they keep Bale they have a chance but if they sell him then they lose a world class player and sends out the wrong message to attract other players to the club. Who would want to go to Liverpool more than 5 other prem teams? No one.
