The Republicans in the House are all for spending cuts, right?

Wrong.

They are only for cuts in programs they disagree with, like food stamps.

But "crop insurance" payments to millionaires? The more the merrier!

No the Republicans in the House are not always for spending cuts. They will cut spending that helps poor people but have no problem with passing a 1 trillion dollars farm bill. I am wondering where the conservative outrage on this legislation is at, haven't heard a peep about it.

Yeah, he is wrong on this one and the Republicans should. HOWEVER...

It is politically dangerous to cut defense spending, which this is. If something happens and it comes back to cuts in the program that could have prevented the event, the GOP is sunk. ALSO, you don't add or cut or even discuss intelligence appropriations in public. You discuss them in public, they're public knowledge. Our enemies are in the 'public'. So, going out there and saying, "Yeah, we don't support this program, we're not going to do it anymore." would be kinda stupid, don't you think?

Every administration for the past 40 years has been running it.

If you're referring to the NSA their time is better spent on spying outside our borders

They have never willingly cut anything from defense.

They only want to cut spending on the poor and working class, they have no problem with corporate welfare, pointless wars, foreign aid, raises for themselves, duplicated budget items, etc.

We call those republicans RINOs.

That is why I only will vote TEA!
