Why isn't Sims 3 opening?
I wa playing it for a couple of hours, then closed it to check my emails, and now when I click on it to open, it doen't. Can anyone tell me why this is happening please?
Thanks
I'm not trying to restart the game, just reopen it - I minimized it & now it's just not opening again. I think if I turn off my computer, all my progress would go so was wondering if anyone can help me avoid this? I suppose it's just one of those things that computers do...

The only thing I can think of is to try to restore it by clicking on the hidden icons button (or whatever it's actually called). Assuming your OS is Windows, at the bottom far right of the screen (to the left of where the date and time are displayed), there are a bunch of icons, one looks like a tiny triangle. Click on that and look for the Sims 3 icon. Right click on that icon and choose Restore. If that doesn't help, I don't know of any options other than force quitting through Task Manager.

im not sure why your launcher isnt opening but i can tell you that you dont need to open the launcher to play the game
just right click on the launcher and click the option that lets you see all the files in the folder then click on the icon that is name ts3 it should be the same icon as your sims 3 launcher
when you open it up it will just open up the game and you can skip right over the launcher
