I agree with it. The problem of evil is never adequately answered. The only honest answer any believer can give is "I don't know". A major hole in the idea of omnipotent benevolent god is what I see. And if it is not a benevolent god why worship it?

I think it demonstrates how much pain and suffering these people endured. I can't say I blame his reasoning. It's a good point

I've actually asked a few Jews how they balance God with the Holocaust. Except for one person, I got the answer, "I don't know." At least they can admit when things like this happen, they don't know how to balance it with a God. They admit they don't understand why things like this happen.

I recall the account of another Jew who was tortured and killed. I remember him asking god to forgive the folks who were doing it to him and told God that due to the relationship he experienced with him that he would do anything to prevent that from being severed.

She didn't hate god - she knew god didn't exist.

@@@ Kyle "It is a sad statement that shows a lack of faith.

God blesses us with suffering, so that we can get closer to him."

And you wonder why I think you people are pathetic, sick psychopaths... cos ONLY a pathetic, sick, psychopath would defend a pathetic, sick, and psychopath...

Even if 'he' is only imaginary.

I wonder how many of them felt that way. There certainly was no god protecting them.

The person was wrong you cant attain self-righteousness before God. God is perfect we are imperfect. Another question is why 50 million people had to die because of Mr Hitler
