Atheists..., I know you don't believe there is a god without evidence. But if said there is a?

...bacon flavoring for coffee..., would you believe that?

Here is my proof if you don't: http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&biw=1024&bih=49...

Update:

I know that some things are harder to believe than others.

So if there is bacon flavouring for coffee, there must be god?

Why, does He lime that sort of thing?

Well, with that reasoning, if there are deep fried Mars bars, then there must be no God.

PS - this is so stupid it is beyond belief.

  • It's all about the likelihood. I would be inclined to believe the bacon flavoring story, because it's within the range of things that CAN happen and DO happen. It requires no changes to the laws of the universe, and since it is a new product, there is no reason to wonder why it has remained secret before now.

If you told me that you owned a unicorn, I would be slightly less inclined to believe. Yes, it is within the realm of possibility, an animal could exist with a horn in the centre of its forehead. But I would doubt the possibility simply because the 'where have they been up until now'

For God, we are asking to believe something which IS fr beyond anything known to science, in many aspects a logical impossibility (how can God be omnipotent? Can he create a rock he cannot lift?), and ALSO something that raises the question: where is the evidence?

If there is evidence there is no reason to believe, it's simply a fact.

And I think if bacon flavored coffee will help overweight people drink that instead of eating bacon, it's a good thing... maybe, depends on how much sugar is in it. But it sounds healthier than bacon.

Bacon flavoring for coffee is not in any way supernatural, so yes, I would believe it.

I would also believe in onion flavoring for coffee (but I wouldn't want to try it.)

I heard about that. It sounds totally disgusting. But a company would *have* to recognise that in advance, right? So I'm kinda tempted to try it. :P
