Tips and advice for selling items on Etsy?

My sister made business cards and gave them to everyone. Ask local boutique if they'll leave your cards out or show some of your pieces. My sister also had a booth at an antique mall type place which helped promote her. She would leave a lot of cards and people would buy stuff when walking by. Also use social media to promote items by posting when you have a new product or color.
