Did you see or read the interview with Matty, juror B29, in the Zimmerman trial?
Where did you find an unedited version of the interview with B29? I can't find one!
What is your take on her reluctance to say if she was "bullied" or not? [Matty: I don't know if I was bullied. I trust god that I wasn't bullied.] Are you happy that the Interviewer did not dig into that bizarre and meaningless response any deeper? Why didn't the interviewer ask: "What does that mean? Did others bully you or not to change your vote?" Was Matty very definitely BULLIED (just like the man in the 12 ANGRY MEN film who went against the others) by the other jurors and is dodging the question so she won't look like a pathetic COWARD who let a guilty man off just to please the aggressive and powerful bullies in that jury room? Isn't Matty a hopeless victim of peer pressure who was forced to give up her convictions just to APPEASE the other jurors? Is Matty a total COWARD has let a bad guy (Zimmerman) get away and now feels GUILTY about it? Do you accept her dishonest explanations and sickening apologies??

thanks, I saw the video in your link and several other EDITED videos which offer a limited version of the original B29 interview. I appreciate your NON-offensive and thoughtful response to my questions. :) jim

re: Then how is he a murderer?
>> THIS IS ALL JUST MY OPINION SO DON'T GET DEFENSIVE! Matty's first impressions and instincts were RIGHT, IMO. GZ is a MURDERED by, first arming himself, and then going after and confronting Marin in the first place (which nobody can prove at this point) and, when the fight, that he STARTED, turned against him he pulled out his HIDDEN ace in the hole and (accidentally or intentionally) shot Martin which ended in Martin's death. I'd call it an UNINTENTIONAL KILLING but - NOT SELF DEFENSE - by an aggressor who armed himself and went out to take on a suspicious character - VIGILANTE STYLE! It's too bad that louder and more aggressive ppl on the jury SHAMED Matty into giving up her CORRECT inner instincts and bow down to their DEMANDS ppl's position. Now she sees what a fool she was and how much harm has been done by her COWARDICE! I now believe that what goes on in a jury room is significant and needs to be exposed

Here is the interview. I don't think the whole thing has aired yet, but this is part of it.

..And yes this woman should have stood up for what she believed in ''then'', before it was too late. I think these jurors are as incompetent as the Casey Anthony jurors. Btw..this is Florida..the same state that let Anthony walk.

In my opinion, this woman wasn't mature enough to have been a member of this jury to begin with. IF she was truly at odds with the other jurors, she always had the right to stick with her own opinion and vote accordingly, regardless of what the others had to say.
I think when the trial was over and the jurors were able to see the public's reaction to the verdict, this woman then began to second guess her decision. That is exactly why most juries are sequestered in such high-profile cases - so they are NOT influenced and/or persuaded by public opinion.

Jacy's right. She wasn't forced to side with the not guilty verdict and should have just led it to a hung jury. She's stupid for speaking out and showing her face. She's now going to get death threats and her life will be in constant danger. She kept contradicting herself and gave paradox statements. I feel he got away with murder, but there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. Then how is he a murderer? She was just blabbering away on ABC.

I thought she explained herself pretty well. She said she felt in her heart that George murdered Trayvon, but when you are on a jury, you have to put your emotions aside and look at the evidence and the law. Going by the evidence and the law, there was no way to convict him.
Clearly she is used to judging by her feelings; but when instructed that as a juror she must look at the evidence and the law, and not pay attention to emotions, she was able to do that.
She did her duty as a juror. I find no fault there.
Now she is not a juror anymore, so she can go back to her usual methods of making decisions. She is a private person again..
I certainly would not want justice decided by a person who could not be objective. It was not easy for her, but she was able to do it.

Normally, everything that is said by anyone has no purpose at this point.. Except in this case B29's comments were devisive and politically motivated.
