Why is it that kids these days make wrong choices and get married and have kids and can not afford it and?

Perhaps this happens because parents these days aren't raising their kids right. Maybe if parents taught their kids how to make good choices and encouraged them to get an education before they got married, things would be different. When you haven't raised your kids right, you can't expect them to make the right choices in life.

This situation you are describing has been going on for generations. It's called being young and in love. Or young and stupid. Believe me it is not a new thing. History is full of stories like this. Ever read Romeo and Juliette? They may not have had kids but you get the point about the choices young people make and how it has been going on forever. Of course I wonder if those reality shows that highlight teen parents making crappy choices effects the teens watching though.
