About dating website?
Hi ,
i got to know a girl in a dating website , as she said she is from brentwood , NY , she said to me through email that she works in sales in a shop and gets just $500 a month , we shared some emails and had some chats , till she said that she fell in love with me and told me she would like to visit me soon ( i am from outside US) , she asked me to send her money for the plane ticket and to renew her visa , along with some money to buy clothes , shoes , and for toiletries , she requested about $3000 .
do you think i should pay her and move on or this may be a scam ? i am new to this and don't know what to do so please give me some advice .
if anyone has experienced same stories then please tell me how it ended up .
she told me she loved me based in my photos , isent her some in the email . but u r right we never had a video chat. thanks alot .

Of course this is a scam
ANY time a person you only know online asks you for money, it's a scam. These are pros - they are talking to 10-20 men at a time, telling all of them she is in love with them and asking for money
She is not coming to visit, she is not getting a visa, she is not buying a plane ticket. This is all a scam to steal your money
Think with your head - not with your privates
NO real woman is ever going to tell a man that she met online but has never even met in person that she is in love with him
NO real woman is ever going to travel to meet a man she has never even seen on a video chat to make sure HE is not a fake profile
ANYONE you meet online who asks for money for ANY reason is always a scammer - there are NO exceptions
Think about it. If you met a girl in your town and she told you she loved you after a week or two, you'd think she was psycho and dump her. And if she asked you for a penny, you'd know she was a gold digger only using you for your money and dump her. So why would you ever believe someone online who could be lying to you about everything???
Cut off all contact ASAP and report to the site where you met
