i have purchased galaxy S4 recently , but the problem i have is that the charger i got does not sit in the outlet in my home , but i already have an MP3 AC to USB adapter and its output is rated

5.5 V , 800 mA , can i use it to charge my S4 safely ? or it's better to charge it via PC USB port ?

this gives 5V , 700mA , while the one i have gives 5.5 V , 800 mA , is it ok ? this charger can be used for Li - ion batteries as said.

the formula given forr determining hie (or Rpi) is (B VT) / IE , where VT = 0.026

according to the transistor 2N2222 datasheet , the minimum value for hie is 2K and the max value is 8K . Now suppose you have a very small value of IE (say about 10 micro ampere) , then according to the formula hie would be (assming B = 50) :

hie = 50 (0.026) / (10 x 10^-6) = 130 K ohm which is much greater than hie max (8K) , so how do

we estimate the value of hie ? is that formula used for certain cases only ?

my question is about the microphone and its amplifier circuit (Q2) , what is the voltage range of the audio signal generated by the mic before amplification , and what would it be after the amplification ? in other words , what is the gain that the CE amplifier must give in order to have a pretty clear sound ?

if I intend to design a common emitter that is biased at cut off , then VCE must equal VCC and

IC nearly 0 A , my question is that according to the characteristic curves and the load line is it true that the negative section of the input signal will be amplified and the positive section would be clipped ?

and if i want the negative section be clipped and get the positive section of the input amplified then VCE must be near Vsat ?

am I thinking right ?
