1-1, and we played much better then them in the confed cup. We also have no good fullbacks for a 4 man defence, abate is not good, de sciglio is still young, criscito has been plauged by injuries, and maggio is much better at rm/rwb then rb.

With the 3 man defence i like it better with de rossi playing as the sweeper, but we dont have another midfielder like him, i think he will be one of the most important players, considering how well pirlo will do, once pirlo goes, de rossi slides right into his spot and it'll be great.

We also have a ton of young players with great ability coming up. Insigne, verratti, de sciglio, gabiadini, florenzi, immobile, SES, saponara etc.

At the end, i think we have a good shot at it, we are better then argentina, we know how to play against germany, and spain now, the team that worries me is brazil

It all depends on if Italy is able to make it to the semifinals without playing Spain. However I think the next time they play Germany the Germans will end Italy's winning streak against Germany.

I think Germany will win the world cup but Italy has the same chance; like Holland, Portugal, Argentina and Brazil. A lot depends on group draws and being focused.

Ofcourse Italy can win - Italy needs to be carefull when they face opponents like Brazil and Germany.

I think Spain,Brazil,Argentina and Germany right now are better but after all Italy did get to the Euro cup finals so they are definitely a challenging side although i think they weren't in their best form during the confederation cup.
