The majority of Hispanics have Spanish descent, that's probably why it makes them proud to speak the language. I am Dominican but my ancestry and surname is French, I've been told that my ancestor escaped the Haitian war to the DR back then. Because of that I found it more necessary to learn French instead of the Slavic language of the country. However my family still think I should make the effort to speak Spanish to them, they hate it when I speak English to them but french they seem to be JUST OK with it(their happy that I at least know a language besides english). I understand that American-Hispanics that only know English are discriminated (not that im against them) by native Hispanics but come on at least a Hispanic like me knows the language of his true ancestor.

Hello, I need a Macbook for school and for hobbies, I know the air and pro are very similar but the slight differences they have is what bothers me!

-Photoshop

-Illustrator

-Indesign

-Final Cut Pro X

-Windows 7(whenever I want to run game softwares in my spare time)

I heard that the Air can handle softwares just fine, obviously not as strong as the pro. Whats stopping me from getting the pro is the fact that its heavier with shorter battery life. However on the other hand, sometimes I stress on the Air being not that powerful to handle a great amount of softwares. The situation is neutral as you see.

Hello, so one of my friends just got ditched by one of his own friends for stupid reasons. Now my friend wants me to prank call this guy for revenge( since I have prank calling experience). I'm eager to do it because I feel bad and this man pretty much deserves what he will get. The thing is I don't intend to harass him, I just want to screw around with him for a little. Here are the conditions before prancing him

1. I will be on vacation in another country, I plan to use the hotel Internet to prank call him.

2. I'm debating whether I should use my own account or create a new one.

3. Last time I pranked him was 2 months ago, and I plan to call him using a soundboard I made that includes clips of his own voices( from the previous calls).

I just want to know if I have to worry with the chances of being caught or not. I know it's a little childish but I can't deny my friend'a request.

Ok, I've seen(and im mostly sure of) Hispanics having different surnames other then that of being Spanish. The thing is, why are Hispanics in North America are culturally identified by their last names? I mean I heard about a Colombian lady denying she was Italian because of her Italian surname, I also heard about Dominicans being identified as French because in that country you find a lot of french surnames.

Is this situation just as questionable and problematic in Latin America? I'm sure it isn't because Hispanics understand that they come in different colors and backgrounds from their ancestors.

I bought Photoshop CS6 a year ago but I want to reformat my computer. The problem is I lost the disc to install it, but if I back up the actual photoshop folder to a usb or dropbbox, would it still work perfectly on my reformatted pc?

I am going to the Dominican this June with my dad. In the country, were going to Santo Domingo, which is the Capital. Now the thing that im worried about is, I heard that the country's crime rate and Tourist mugging are pretty high. I even looked up horrifying news about deaths of Tourists, which can be found here:

Now despite this, its a beautiful country and I still want to go! My dad is from the Dominican and he knows the country at the top of his head, and he has family there too from Santo Domingo(hes been to the country numerous times and came back safe). Now here is what im really worried about, staying at a resort, I don't want to be theft or abducted by some criminal( cuz Im sure to know what would happen next). Should I convince my dad for us to stay at his family's home, or am I worrying too much for nothing?

This has been in my head for a long time, everyone says I look italian cuz of my name and skin, italians are white of course. I mean there are white Dominicans as well. Everyone thinks Dominicans are all darker color and black, but my dad looks like a pure latino but most of his family are complete white. There are several times that I been considers half italian and half spanish from spain. So would I be considered more italian or more Dominican looking? Or something else even?

I always thought Italy has been a growing team after the 2010 world cup(where they were lacking). They played well in 2012 and the confederation cup. Im sure they will be much better in 2014 and hold the likes of Brazil, Argentina, or even Spain to win the cup. I think their still trying to come back as the team they once were in 2006, but agreements and disagreements are welcomed.

this semester i'm taking advanced video class, which I film with a camera and than upload to final cut in order to start editing. The problem is, I hate using the school cameras, they get taken easily and I never have time to use it. So I would like to use my iphone camera(dont mind the shaking) but im sure the quality will suffer once I upload the film from iphone to final cut, does anyone know any quality converters so I can have perfect quality?

I get an error message when I open it saying "photoshop cs5 has stopped working" the message doesn't ask me if I can fix the problem or not. I re installed the program and I get the same thing happening, does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

During my whole vacation, I couldn't find one trench coat for men, I went to old navy, Marshalls, target, jcpenney, tjmax and all, and they don't have any trench coats for men. Some reason they have trenches for females but not for males. i'm talking about something like this
