With this question, you have hit the nail on the head of what is wrong in our country today. The is NO mention of :"separation of church and state" in the US Constitution. What the amendment does say is that the government cannot favor one religion over any other.
This is why the decisions forbidding the posting of a nativity scene on any government property are wrong. But-they are wrong ONLY if that government does not allow another religious sect to also erect a display.,
But, take this one step further. With all the recent decisions, the Supreme Court has, indeed, violated the Constitution. How? They have "established" atheism as the official religion.

NO!
It does NOT say or mean freedom from religion....it means Freedom OF religion.
You are free to practice any religion you want, or none at all, BUT it does NOT mean atheists can remove religion from the public square, or government!
And islam is NOT a religion, it is a failed ideologue!!! And an evil one at that.......

its right. any religion. so really church and state conflict with the Constitution

Yes. It also establishes that the state cannot be involved in religious affairs. The separation of church and state is an obvious and implied logical outcome of the state not supporting a church.
