The Royals cant stop winning-what's caused the turn-around?

    Undefeated since George Brett stepped down. Coincidence, yeah probably. They're still winning with smoke and mirrors just like in April. One more two week streak where they can't score more than a run a game and we can put them to bed.

    All this winning isn't doing us any good either. If we win again tonight we'll be 9-2 since the All-Star break yet we'll have actually lost ground in the standings.

    I still don't see them getting past Cleveland or Detroit. They're a destined 3rd place team. They can somewhat pitch and have a nice bullpen, but they've scored 100 less runs than Cleveland and Detroit. They just can't hit this year. You need some hitting to get a wildcard, or win the division. You don't necessarily need it to carry you throughout the playoffs and win you a World Series. They should aim to finish a few games above .500 this year.
