Why should I give a damn about carbon emission, IF...?

Why should I give a damn about carbon emission, IF...

...so many stupid idiots want mandatory registration (meaning of course paying big$$$$) for riding a gawddamn bicycle.

Honestly, Australia is turning into Nazi land.

If it comes to that, I'll simply ride 'illegally' and if the bullies in blue (law) are going to cause me trouble, then I simply won't give a rat's as$ about the environment anymore and simply do my bit polluting it with car exhaust fumes, instead of environmentally friendly alternatives such as riding a bike.

The ball is in the court of those dictator politicians and the idiots that egg them on!

Because humans are polluting this planet by just existing, not that you can blame them, animals don't pollute.

And yes, you are saying it is easy to replace cars with bikes (maybe in Australia it is? I have no clue), but I don't think it's that easy. Consider the winter and when it snows, I like to walk, but well, some places are really far to walk to and it's very unlikely that I'd use a bike to go there in the snow.

Australia is such a small population and will not do much in terms of slowing down global emissions. The only role it has is really to set an example for its neighbours especially china who produces a lot more emissions compared to Australia.

Australia does overtax its citizens, but the quality of life is much better then other first world countries. You can't have this without paying for it.

Best way to cut emissions is changing attitudes to how resources are used.
