Too short for any of the girls in my class!!?

Most of the guys I dated in school were shorter than me, so yeah, girls can and will take you seriously...at least some of them will.

As for your height, boys are usually shorter than girls for most of their puberty. My brother was such a shrimp when we were growing up. We're only two years apart and I was always tallest. It wasn't until he hit 18 that he finally shot up and got taller than me. Some guys don't get taller until they're 19, though, so even then I wouldn't worry.

Your height is going to depend on your genetics. If everyone in your family is tall, you'll eventually catch up...probably. If there are some short people, then you'll probably be in the middle there somewhere. In my family I'm now the shortest at 5'10. My youngest brother is 6'4". My mom was 5'2" and my dad was 6'1", so you see, I'm a girl and I'm in the middle of those two, but on the tall end. My two brothers and my sister are taller than me, but that only happened once we'd all gone through puberty.

Don't be discouraged. Just find a girl that you like and flirt. Most girls will be able to overlook it and see you as a person. If they can't see you as a great guy because of your height, then they are too shallow for you. The best thing to do is just be sweet, charming and self confident because girls love all that. Romantic never hurt either. If you find one that you REALLY like, buy a carnation or a rose and leave it somewhere she'll find it. Write on the note "Guess who?" or something else that makes her curious. Do little things like this once in a while until you get up the nerve to let her know it was you. It could be a candy bar or a paper heart or something silly, but sweet...nothing expensive...and by the time you do tell her that it's you, she'll be so curious and intrigued that she'll probably be too stunned to notice your height.

I'm not saying it will definitely work...every girl is different and sometimes weird...but if you want the best chance possible, that will help you get it.
