How do I know he likes me?

I've never been good with guys and knowing whether someone likes me or not. So how do I know? There is a guy I work with that I like. We're friends. We work the same shift and we walk in and out together everyday. We talk and text. He says he thinks I'm funny (except that I like Fords). He say if I wasn't around he'd miss me and that I make work bearable. However he has a girlfriend. Any advice? I will never break up anyone, but it would be nice to know whether he likes me or not.

Update:

I would like to add that before I knew he had a girlfriend, I told him that I like him. In my experience when a guy finds out that somebody likes him and he doesn't like her he will slowly stop talking to her and hanging out with her. This guy is very protective of me (I have an ex husband that is sometimes abusive) and he's picked me up for work, bought a gas treatment for my car and offered to install a new stereo in my car.

Tricky, I think he might consider you his best female friend. But who knows. Is his relationship with his girlfriend is good?. If they barely see each other, maybe you have a chance, if he really loves his girlfriend. Well, the least you can do is be there as a friend. Don't feel sad. See how it turns out. 😊

There is a chance that he likes you, but if he does have a girlfriend best not mention it just in case he does like you seeing you do not want to break them up.

He possibly does as I said before, if he always sends you Emoticons and stuff like that then there is a good chance to be honest
